PROGRAMS
Below is an overview of our programs, supportive services, and the intake process for individuals seeking assistance.
INTAKE PROCESS
The Home Again Program, operated by Concerned Citizens for a Better Algiers (CCFBA), provides safe, supportive transitional housing and comprehensive services for individuals living with HIV/AIDS and homeless veterans. Our goal is to help residents achieve housing stability, improve their overall health and well-being, and build the skills and confidence needed to live independently and become productive members of the community
SUPPORTIVE SERVICES
At Concerned Citizens for a Better Algiers (CCFBA), we believe that stable housing is the foundation for a healthier, more independent future. Through our Home Again Program, we provide comprehensive, person-centered supportive services that help individuals living with HIV/AIDS and homeless veterans achieve long-term housing stability, improved health outcomes, and self-sufficiency.
FACILITY BASED/TRANSITIONAL HOUSING
The Home Again Residence, operated by Concerned Citizens for a Better Algiers (CCFBA), is a 24-hour, facility-based transitional housing program serving up to 11 residents. We provide a safe, supportive environment for individuals living with HIV/AIDS and homeless veterans experiencing homelessness or housing instability.
EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
At Concerned Citizens for a Better Algiers (CCFBA), we believe that education creates opportunities and transforms lives. Our Adult Education and Workforce Development Program empowers participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to achieve their educational and career goals.
Affordable Rental Housing
At Concerned Citizens for a Better Algiers (CCFBA), we are committed to providing safe, quality, and affordable rental housing for individuals and families in Algiers and the Greater New Orleans community.
CCFBA has successfully completed 55 affordable rental housing units, offering residents the opportunity to live in quality homes while experiencing greater housing stability.
As we begin our next chapter in affordable housing development, CCFBA is in the process of expanding our housing portfolio. With 26 undeveloped lots available for future development, we look forward to bringing additional affordable rental homes to the community and expanding housing opportunities for those in need of quality, affordable housing.
